Murry Foust Missing Found Dead Wilder, Kentucky – Missing NKU Student Found Dead

The Northern Kentucky community is mourning the loss of Murry “Alexis” Foust, a Northern Kentucky University student who had been missing since April and was found dead Sunday in Wilder, Kentucky, according to Covington Police. The heartbreaking discovery followed weeks of search efforts involving law enforcement agencies, volunteers, and independent search organizations working tirelessly to locate Foust after they disappeared on April 27.

Authorities said an independent search party located Foust’s body on Steel Plant Road in Wilder. Following the discovery, the Covington Police Department confirmed that its Criminal Investigation Division and Evidence Collection Unit were working alongside the Wilder Police Department and the Campbell County Coroner to investigate the scene and determine the circumstances surrounding the death.

At this time, officials say there are no indications of foul play. The Campbell County Coroner’s Office will determine the official cause of death following further examination and investigation.

Search efforts for Foust had continued for weeks throughout the Latonia and Covington areas. Multiple organizations, including EquuSearch Midwest, a branch of Texas EquuSearch, participated in efforts to locate the missing student. Community members also joined in distributing flyers, sharing information online, and assisting in organized search operations.

In a public statement, Covington Police expressed condolences to the family and loved ones of Foust, acknowledging the profound grief surrounding the case while hoping the discovery may provide some measure of closure. Northern Kentucky University also released a statement expressing heartbreak over the loss and encouraging students and staff struggling emotionally to seek support through campus counseling services.
