A fatal single-vehicle crash on Friday morning claimed the life of Jeremy Razza near Liberty Lake, after his vehicle left the roadway and struck an overpass along westbound Interstate 90.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m. near milepost 294 in the area of North Kramer Parkway. Investigators reported that Razza, a 38-year-old resident of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, was traveling westbound when his vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway for reasons that remain under investigation.
The vehicle subsequently struck an overpass structure after leaving the roadway. Authorities confirmed that Razza was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported in the incident.
Early findings indicate that the crash was caused by the vehicle departing the roadway, though officials have not yet determined what factors may have contributed. Investigators continue to examine whether road conditions, speed, distraction, or other circumstances played a role.
Emergency crews responded promptly to the scene, and traffic along the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 was temporarily impacted as authorities conducted their investigation and cleared the roadway. By later that morning, officials confirmed that the area had been reopened and traffic was flowing normally again.
Images from the scene showed evidence of the vehicle’s trajectory leaving the roadway before impact, underscoring the severity of the collision.
As the investigation continues, Razza is being remembered with sadness by those who knew him, as a life lost suddenly in an early-morning crash that has left family and community members grieving and seeking answers about how the tragedy unfolded.
