Roger Stroble Obituary,  Kansas City Accident Death – Three-Vehicle Crash Involving Sidney Kile’s Speeding McLaren in Kansas City

Roger Stroble, 74, of Kansas City, Kansas, has tragically died following a three-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon near 34th Street and Merriam Lane, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The collision, which involved a speeding sports car driven by Sidney Kile, has left multiple individuals injured and the local community mourning the devastating loss.

Authorities reported that the crash took place shortly after 4:45 p.m. on May 20. Investigators say Sidney Kile, 28, of Olathe, was traveling westbound in a 2019 McLaren 570S at a high rate of speed when the vehicle struck a 2017 Honda Accord driven by Anne Wohl, 37, of Lenexa. Troopers stated that Wohl had been attempting to turn north onto 34th Street when the collision occurred.

According to officials, the impact forced the McLaren into a stopped 2018 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by Aaron Stich, 47, of Brookline Station. Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene and transported Stroble, who was a passenger in the McLaren, to the University of Kansas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Despite medical efforts, he was later pronounced deceased.

Kile was also taken to the University of Kansas Medical Center with suspected serious injuries. Information regarding the conditions of the other drivers involved has not been fully released.

The tragic incident has deeply affected family members, friends, and members of the Kansas City community. As loved ones grieve the sudden loss, many are reflecting on Roger Stroble’s life and the memories shared with him throughout the years.
